The Hochschule für Politik Münche (HfP) is an interdisciplinary institute for the study of politics and public policy, at TUM, one of Germany’s leading research universities. The <b class="">Chair for International Relations</b> (IR) is a research and teaching
unit of the HfP. The IR Research Group brings together researchers pursuing active research agendas to make both theoretically exciting and empirically important contributions. <b class="">We welcome research proposals on any IPE topic</b>, broadly conceived, <b class="">but
are particularly interested in:</b><br class="">

Analytical skills and the capacity for independent social scientific research will be key selection criteria. Successful applicants will be expected, above all, to develop and pursue their own research within the overarching research agenda of the IR Chair.
Postdocs at the IR Chair also participate in ongoing collaborative research projects and make independent contributions to teaching.<br class="">

the grade obtained;</li><li class="">if not readily apparent from the official transcripts, documentation of all degrees obtained; if you have not yet completed your doctoral degree, please indicate expected date of completion and award;</li><li class="">a research article/paper or other analytical writing sample, in English (for co-authored articles, please indicate your contribution); and</li><li class="">a list of at least 3 academic references who can speak to your qualification for postdoctoral research.
